This is Georgetown

Nestled between I-5, the Duwamish River, King County Airport (KCIA) and a rail yard, Georgetown is a small area with a large presence. Our grit and determination makes us who we are. We’re the first documented settlement in King County; making us the oldest neighborhood in Seattle. We were once home to Seattle’s horse racing track, the largest brewery in the United States, and the King County Fair.

Today, we are the best example of a successful, mixed use neighborhood where residents and industry live side by side; where artists come for inspiration and others come to imbibe. We are industrial, we are residential and, most of all, we are here to stay. This is Georgetown - home to people who have lived here for generations, to those who are passing through, and to those who came here briefly and decided to stay.

Welcome. And thanks for wanting to learn more about the neighborhood we call home.
